NASA - 'National Association of Students of Architecture' is a forum, which promotes interaction between students, faculty and professionals. NATIONAL NASA convention is a yearly event at national level and Zonal NASA is the one at zonal level. In national NASA, 100-120 colleges participate from all over India,Nepal and other SAARC Nations. We have been participating in both the events since 1995. NASA constitutes of 7 Zones throughout India including 1 or 2 states within one Zone. Maharashtra and Gujarat fall under zone-2. It comprises of 5 main trophies such as LIK, G-Sen, Nari Gandhi, Reuben, and HUDCO along with Cultural, many on-the-spot games and miscellaneous design competitions. These conventions take place at a Zonal level and a National level. Zonal NASA invites around 20 to 25 colleges per zone while the National and Annual NASA has a participation of over 120 architecture colleges throughout India and SAARC Countries since 2009.
BVCOA is a permanent member of NASA. Extra Curricular activities are given equal priority like Academics aiming for the over-all development of every student who enrolls him/herself in BVCOA. NASA is one such activity that BVCOA strongly supports without hesitation at every point each year. Hence it is a matter of honor for every student to be a part of NASA through BVCOA. The records and achievements ahead definitely prove us that. BVCOA have bagged many prizes since 1995.
Every year BVCOA students participates in various NASA trophies such as Reubens, G-Sen, Hudco, Nari Gandhi and Louis I Kahn. BVCOA participated in Cultural activities at NASA throughout the last decade.
Some of the most important BVCOA NASA achievement highlights are:
BVCOA winner of the most prestigious 'G-Sen' trophy for Design at NASA 2007 and Reubens (for academic work display) and Nari Gandhi trophy (for documentation) at NASA 2005, and organizing host college for zonal NASA in the year 2001-2002.
