The courtyard is the nexus of all life at BVCOA. Every event and festivity finds a way in the college courtyard, which enriches the day-to-day life of students as well as staff. Over the years, the courtyard continues to be a unique icon of the college ethos.
BVCOA boasts the largest academic library of any architectural college in Navi Mumbai, with a collection of over 10000 books, 30000 E-books, and over 100 E-magazines for the holistic reference of students as well as faculty. It also houses academic work and dissertation books of previous batches for students’ reference.
The 8 state-of-the-art lecture halls are designed according to COA regulations, blending both functionality and aesthetics, to inspire and nurture the architects and designers of tomorrow.
As prescribed by COA, 12 esteemed design studios are meticulously crafted to foster innovation, collaboration, and hands-on learning for each and every student. Flexible workspaces with ample natural light empower students to fuel their creative expression.
The seminar hall with a capacity of 160 serves as the intellectual hub, with regular seminars, discussions, presentations, and lectures that inculcate knowledge-sharing and an environment conducive to meaningful learning experiences.
A dynamic work yard that brings ideas to life through tangible expression, this space hosts numerous practical and hands-on design workshops that foster a deep understanding of materials, construction techniques, and artistic concepts.
The computer lab is equipped with state-of-the-art software and hardware, providing students and faculty with access to design tools and resources that are essential for architectural visualization and modeling, along with seamless access to online resources and research materials.
The Surveying, leveling, and material lab is well-equipped with up-to-date collections of various kinds of construction and engineering materials, pertaining to stones, bricks, sanitation and plumbing, electricals, acoustics, wood-work, among others, for students’ holistic development related to understanding of design materials and their usage in the current market. The lab also hosts all important equipment and apparatus required for surveying and leveling procedures.
The environment lab boasts a plethora of apparatus important for understanding climate and its analysis, such as Lux Meters, Rain Gauge, Sky Dome, and Anemometers, for an all-round development of environmental and sustainability concepts among students.
The college campus houses 3 cafeterias that serve a variety of cuisines and options at the students’ disposal, providing hygienic, safe, and delicious food.
The campus at Bharati Vidyapeeth, Navi Mumbai, offers hostel facilities to students from all streams, including Architecture and Interior Design, Dental, Engineering, and Nursing departments. Two separate hostels are reserved for boys and girls, with all facilities to ensure a comfortable and safe residence. A sports ground, internet facilities, and a mess that serves nutritious food are also provided, to make the student’s stay homely and pleasant.
The room celebrates the various achievements that the college has garnered through NASA over the years, and also provides a spacious and comfortable workspace for students to work on competition material, display their work, and discuss teamwork strategies.
