Students have worked through the design cell for various design proposals by CIDCO, NMMC, and UDRI.
Fort Management Plan (2009)
During April–May 2009, a team of 75 students worked with the Urban Design Research Institute (UDRI) on the Fort Management Plan. They documented and prepared survey map sheets for service and transport management under the guidance of Mr. Gulshankumar Sharma.
Belpada Landscape Project
A team of students worked on the landscaping projects of Bharati Vidyapeeth Belpada Complex during 2009–10 under the guidance of Ms. Saumya Bannerjee and Ms. Ritu Deshmukh.
LAVASA Study Visit
Students conducted a study visit to LAVASA Township for research and proposal work undertaken by the BVCOA Design Cell under the guidance of Ms. Annadate and Ms. Richa Sharma.
GO GREEN Conference
A team of 40 first-year students contributed to the Scraptures Exhibition and set design for the GO GREEN Conference organized by Rotary Clubs.
MMRDA Waterfront Redevelopment
Students participated in a comprehensive study and redevelopment proposal for the Navi Mumbai waterfront in association with CIDCO under Prof. Suresh Mankar, Ms. Ritu Deshmukh, and Ar. D.G. Parab.
Goa Rural Studio
Students stayed, studied, and worked in Goa during the Goa Rural Studio (9–16 October 2010), jointly conducted with KRVIA Mumbai and Goa College of Architecture, exploring socio-economic, geographic, and ecological aspects of Goa.
Sara House Restoration
Following the Goa Rural Studio, students initiated a live conservation project to revive the 200-year-old Sara House in Chandore under the guidance of practicing consultants.
